New Year, New Septic Tank Legislation

New legislation came into play on 1st January this year requiring all septic tanks that discharge waste into a watercourse to be replaced. This is not just for farmers, but also for private homeowners with an old septic tank. This is not just recommended, but a new legal requirement, and it is possible to receive a fine should you not comply with the new legislation.
