
Richard has over 40 years of senior-level experience, primarily in building surveying, premises management, and health and safety. Since the introduction of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations, he has successfully fulfilled the roles of Planning Supervisor, CDM Coordinator, and, more recently, Principal Designer.
Recognised for his proactive and practical approach to safety in design, Richard has led and delivered CDM Coordinator and Principal Designer services for major clients across London, the South East, South West, and Wales, both independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.
A Chartered Builder (MCIOB), Richard later achieved the NEBOSH Diploma and subsequently gained Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH). He has continued to build on his expertise as an estates-based construction safety professional. Now working as an independent consultant, Richard brings a wealth of extensive knowledge and hands-on CDM experience to every project he undertakes.
