Simon joined JRC as a Principal Civil Engineer, bringing over 12 years’ experience in delivering highways and drainage design for residential, commercial and public realm developments across the South West.
He has extensive expertise in Highways and Drainage Design, SuDs and flood-risk strategy development, cut and fill and bulk earthworks design, as well as Sectional Agreements (S38, S104, S278).
Simon has led multi-disciplinary teams and managed technical design from planning through to construction. At JRC, he is responsible for designing, administering and overseeing Civil Engineering projects, whilst also providing internal training to our apprentices. His guidance supports their progression and ensures that we deliver high quality designs efficiently and confidently.
Outside of work, Simon has been actively involved with his local hockey team for the past 10 years, both coaching and playing. He is also a keen swimmer and enjoys spending weekends away during the summer, walking or heading out for sea swims when the weather allows. When he’s not outdoors, Simon enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.
