Mercedes joins us as an Associate, bringing over 20 years of experience in GIS and mapping data for environmental and water studies. She has extensive expertise in project management, reporting and liaising with statutory consultees on river, flood management, flood defence, and drainage projects.
Throughout her career, Mercedes has worked with the Environment Agency, Local Authorities, and a range of national and international private clients. She has contributed to numerous site-specific Flood Risk Assessments supporting planning applications, as well as strategic flood risk management studies, including Catchment Flood Management Plans and Strategic Flood Risk Assessments. Additionally, she has experience in strategic drainage assessments (Drainage Strategies) and the incorporation of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) into the master planning process.
