On Thursday 25th April, we held our annual Charity Go-Karting Event at Raceworld, Exeter – the only time where tailgating is acceptable and all for a good cause. It was a fantastic evening, with over 60+ attendees! We are delighted to announce that we managed to raise a huge £2,250 from the proceeds of the event.
This year, our chosen charity was Care for Kids North Devon. They provide instant financial assistance to local families who have a child diagnosed with a life-threatening condition. Alongside the financial support to families, they also work to carry out various improvements to the Caroline Thorpe children’s ward at North Devon District Hospital. They rely solely on fundraising, sponsorships and grants, and we are so pleased that all proceeds from our event were donated to support their continued commendable efforts helping those in need.
We would once again like to send a huge thank you to everyone who attended our fundraising event and donated so generously. We couldn’t have done it without you all! The event was great fun, but being able to help out another local charity and our wider community makes it even more worthwhile 😊
